Gayle Newman, Owner – Clay, Kilned Glass and Enamel Arts
I have been closely associated with Graphic Arts, Fine Arts and Crafting for virtually my entire life. I graduated with a BFA at the University of Miami then continued my studies at the University of Texas, in the School of Education, eventually ending up at CW Post, again, in the school of Education. I worked full time as a graphic designer with a few companies while continuing to practice my skills in pottery and painting.
It was when I arrived in Florida in 2016 that I expanded my creative passion to include Glass Fusion and Enameling. I am continuously broadening my scope of understanding and developing new techniques and skills which I enjoy sharing with the students at Potters Cove.

Shelly Rowse – Glass Instructor and KidKraft™
A self taught glass artist from Cleveland, OH. Shelly has been experimenting with glass in a number of ways since 2008. Some of the techniques include fusing and slumping in the kiln. She loves to explore garden techniques.
Shelly has been an instructor for over twenty-five years and loves sharing her wealth of knowledge with both youngsters and adults.
